On October 3rd, 2020 please join Rebekah for the CUT TRAFFICKING fundraiser where a team of volunteer hairstylists & barbers will be cutting hair to raise money to benefit Operation Underground Railroad in addition to hosting a silent auction of high-value items donated by our business community. We will also be elevating awareness & creating connections within our own community through mixed media, featured speakers & partnering organizations. There will be food trucks, music, merchandise, & messages shared - making this a rewarding event for the entire family.

Carly Robison shares with us her incredible story of being quarantined for 10 years!  Carly graduated from Weber State University with an Elementary Education Major and a music minor.  11 years ago Carly developed some severe health challenges and she felt compelled to share the things she had learned through her trials in a blog found at carlyrobison.org. 
In addition to her blog, Carly recently started a podcast called, A Light in the Darkness, where she interviews people who have been through trials and shares tips and strategies on how to use them to become BETTER instead of BITTER.  It is her hope that her listeners will find strength, hope, love, and a better understanding, and using faith-based principles to find light in their own personal darkness.

Dave Brisbin - what an amazing person! Dave is a pastor, teacher, licensed pastoral counselor, and spiritual director with a BA in English Lit/Writing and a Masters in Divinity. A published writer and songwriter, he is the teaching pastor at the Effect Faith Community and recovery ministry in San Juan Capistrano, CA.  
As he was completing pastoral training, he was introduced to a substance abuse recovery community and fell in love with those at the precipice of change in their lives. His nearly twenty years of pastoral work has coincided with recovery counseling and treatment for addicts, alcoholics, and their families using a combination of clinical, 12 Step, and spiritual principles in a non-religious setting.
